Provides gifts for 2 children from Atwater Elementary School in North Port, FL. Items include: clothing, games, toys and sports related materials for two brothers. Unwrapped items are due by December 14. We will include Ryle’s book Duties of Parents and a Young Children’s Catechism book.
Back Pack Angels
All Year 2021
Back Pack Angels is a year long project with item collections every month. Items that are always needed include: toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, hairbrush, deodorant, bath soap, laundry soap and other personal hygiene products. Recipients include students and their families in North Port, FL. Families have been verified needy and/or homeless. Each donating group’s identity is made known so the recipients know who donated the items.
Operation Christmas Child
October and November 2021
Operation Christmas Child is sponsored by Samaritans Purse which distributes shoe boxes filled with toys, hygiene items and school supplies internationally. We conduct this project annually. The recipients will also receive a child friendly Gospel booklet that illustrates Christ’s life, death, burial and resurrection. In 2020 we packed 26 boxes along with $9 each for shipping.
