Our Logo has underneath it the words “growing and going” referring to growing in the Word and going to the world. In this sense our logo is connected the the Bible verses also on our home page –
19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 “teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. (Matthew 28:19-20 NKJ)
It is our desire, by God’s grace, to be faithful to that command of Christ.
The logo itself, a Bible with a road running through it, it symbolic of the fact that the Word of God lights our way to God and Heaven –
105 NUN. Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. (Psalm 119:105 NKJ)
The green, go light, symbolizes the fact that there is nothing from God hindering us from this path, nor you! It is a light inviting us to “GO” with God, to follow Christ, to join us in this great adventure which is the Christian LIFE!
